Description

Amla powder, known in English as Indian Gooseberry powder (botanically Phyllanthus emblica or Emblica officinalis), is one of the most revered herbal powerhouses in traditional Ayurvedic medicine and modern natural wellness. It is made by harvesting fresh green amla fruits—which look like small, striped, translucent green plums—slicing them, sun-drying them until they lose all moisture, and grinding them into a fine, light greenish-tan or grayish-brown powder.
